Kins Technology is a leading IT system integrator and distributor based in Thimphu Bhutan offering integrated solutions in data, voice and video communication. Founded by two IT pioneers in Bhutan (Rajesh Gurung and Ratna Bdr Tamang) in 2014 with the aim to offer an alternate choice for technologies and services to Bhutanese customers, Kins Technology has earned reputable recognition in local market for its commitment in quality products and services. Working closely with government departments, NGOs, corporations and private business houses, Kins Technology focuses in providing consultancy services, design and implementation of IT solutions for customers with quality products and services. The Management:

The Founding Members of Kins Technology are Rajesh Gurung and Ratna Bdr Tamang. A recipient of Presidency Award and Gold Medallist from University of New Delhi, Rajesh Gurung began his career as Network Engineer in the erstwhile Peljorkhang Pvt Ltd in 1999. He was instrumental in driving the former company from mere selling PCs and laptops to becoming a service oriented business enterprise. He was heading the Technical Division as General Manager before resigning to establish Kins Technology. He has worked extensively with OEMs like Dell, HP, IBM, 3M, SUN, Oracle, Cisco, Juniper, D-Link, Siemens, Bosch, Panasonic, LG, Xerox, Allied Telesis, APC, Microsoft and others. He is the first Bhutanese to get Cisco and Microsoft certification while back in 2001. At Kins Technology, Rajesh Gurung commits himself to providing solutions and bringing innovative technologies to Bhutanese customers. Ratna Bdr Tamang with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration began his career as Sales Executive in 2004 with erstwhile Peljorkhang Pvt Ltd selling Dell PCs, Laptops and Servers. He took up additional product portfolios such as Xerox, Panasonic, LG, 3M and APC into his account and quickly became a favourite among the sales persons in the former company. He was recognized for his excellent sales and marketing capabilities and was rewarded with several promotions. Within few years, he had risen to the post of Manager and was heading the Sales and Marketing Division of the company before he resigned to join Rajesh Gurung to establish Kins Technology.


The Essence of Management of Kins Technology is governed by two important guideline books of the company: The Company Systems and Processes Book and the Company Service Rule Book. Adopted as bible by the management, these books provide the guiding principles and policies for overall management and operation of the company strictly adhering to the corporate governance practices with focus on profitability, liquidity and growth of the company and its employees. The Company Service Rule adhering strictly to the provisions of the Labour Act 2007 of the Kingdom of Bhutan defines among others the recruitment and layoff policies, work environment, employment terms, employee entitlements and accountabilities, etc.
